Groucho Marx - 8x10" Signed Photo, PSA Certified!

In 1975, I, Bob Quinn, along with my brother John wrote a letter to Groucho Marx in California and told him how much we admired his contributions in the entertainment world and asked if he could autograph a photo to us, and shortly afterwards we received this photo in the mail. It is autographed "To John & Bob Best Always, from Groucho." The  photograph does have some staining on the very bottom in the margin, not affecting the image of Groucho or the signature. There is also some tape along the borders of the photo, also not affecting the image or the signature. This auction also includes the original envelope that the item was mailed to us in, a manila envelope. It is stamped in the upper left corner "Groucho Marx Beverly Hills, Calif.", stamped also on left "Do not Bend", addressed to the Quinns ( me and my brother's last name), and stamped on the right is the date and time it was mailed -  from Las Angeles, California on October 8, 1975 PM , six  days after Groucho's eighty fifth birthday, which was October 2, 1975. The flap of the envelope has some damage to it, when it was opened, and there is some tape on it to keep the entire envelope intact. On September 25,2004,  I mailed to PSA/DNA   the original photo to be authenticated, without the history of the item.  This is because when PSA/DNA examines an item, they will only examine the item itself, that it has to stand on its own merits as to whether it is genuine or not. On Thursday, September 30th,2004,  I received the photo back with the letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.   PSA/DNA's letter is enclosed in a plastic holder, and is scanned for you, outside of the holder. It is dated Tuesday, September 28, 2004, Re CU20432, certification B92512 and has a photo of the autographed item on their letter. PSA/DNA's certification number, B92512 is on a sticker attached to the back of the autographed photo, and a scan is also provided showing the sticker.

Glossy 8.5 x 7.75 promotional photo of Groucho, Chico and Harpo for An Evening With Groucho, signed and inscribed in black felt tip “Doug, You bet your life! Groucho.” In very good condition, with neatly trimmed edges, bit of toning in lower border, a crease to the upper left corner. R&R COA.

Harpo's an Angel!

VERY RARE - Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Harpo as an angel playing his harp in a recliner, signed and inscribed in blue ink “To Mildred from Harpo Fondly xxx 4-2-56.” Creasing to two corners and right edge, some scattered light surface marks and some light adhesion trouble to affection and date, otherwise fine condition. UNBELIEVABLE UNOPENED 1955 Groucho Game!!!!

Groucho's "YOU BET YOUR LIFE" - copyright 1955 National Broadcasting Company.  Lowell Toy Manufacturing Corp.  Based on the NBC TV & Radio show.  Box cover:  normal wear to the edges, one corner split (top left hand), large stain above the words "...Your Life" running down to the DESOTO-PLYMOUTH.  Box bottom:  excellent condition, very minor damage to one side, no corner splits.  Contents:  Never played, the quiz cards and other playing parts are sealed in the original shrink wrap.   Instructions included, like new condition.  Timer - works.  If not for the stain on the cover this would be like new.  An excellent game with 50 years of age and no use.
