Original classic collectibles & antique poster art

..... are in a league of their own. Contemporary movie posters have lost their uniqueness and beauty of the hand-painted movie artwork and photography of the early days. Today most film posters are computer generated. Moreover, theatres today only display the 27"x41" one sheet poster. Gone are the days of the lobby cards, window cards, half sheets and inserts. As a result, these extinct Hollywood treasures are highly collectible and valuable. • All movie posters are ORIGINALS and are NOT reproductions!!
  One Sheets - Are standard size 27"x41" and still used in today's super theatres
  Inserts - 14x30" used in the early days in theatres
  Lobby cards - 11x14" and came in set of eight including a Title Card which was usually a mini version of the larger one sheet. Highly collectible for their displayable size, movie scenes, often nicer artwork then the one sheets and their extinction due to the monopoly theatres no longer using them. Used in theatres primarily before the 80's in the lobbies to advertise upcoming attractions.  
  Windows Cards - 14x22, used primarily in local businesses in town to advertise upcoming movies. Not used anymore due to the super-theaters' monopolies and extinction of local town theatres.

• Lobby Cards (11"x14") - Set of eight cards. One Title Card (miniature of the one sheet) and seven cards displaying actually scenes from the movie. Were always used in theatres in the early days to promote movies and coming attractions, however since the 80's they have not been used as much anymore. Highly collectible not only because of their near extinction but because of their very popular display and framable size and often better artwork then the one sheets.
